Joanna Kidney

My lecture suggested this artist to me, my work reminded me of her. She made little sculptures and fabrics and displayed them up the walls and ceiling. Giving the idea of a growing fungus! I was really interested in her work because are subject is the same. The material she uses is nothing like a fungus but the pattern of how it is displayed is, like ivy growing up the walls slowly spreading. The materials are unique and colorful, which attracts me to her work and leaves me wanting to know more! Up close each piece is individual which makes it magical!
