Feltmaking

Just before the Christmas break my tutors were really excited about my work and gave me some hints about maybe what to do with it and how to display it for the assessments in January. Since then I have just been updating my sketchbooks and messing around with fabric. My lecture showed me how to felt make and suggested to me to try it over the break. I am happy with my sculpture at the moment, I do not want to make it to perfect or overdo it. I just want the idea of something growing to be evident and for the pattern of the idea to make sense. It does to me and I hope it does to my lecturers, I have really enjoyed watching my work grow over the last five months! I am ready now to take on my disciplines and take that one subject a little bit further.
