Average ...

My progress review went ok. I got average in most my work so I was happy! :) They seem interested in my ideas, and want me to go with just one of them. I am going to stick with my apple and continue to research this more. They said I need to take more risks and start making more 3D stuff. I thought I was taking risks with my fungus apple? apparantely not enough! I got to up my game! I love making 3D stuff better than drawing sometimes, I just need to work out my ideas first and realise why I am doing it? Otherwise I am making something for the sake of making things .... But I know where I am going with my project. It might take longer than some but I have learned in the past you cannot rush art, it is possibly the worst mistake you will ever make. Over the last few weeks in Limerick I have realised that I am not comfortable in my studio either. I do not like the atmosphere in my class and there is not a sense of a good work ethic, I would prefer if I was in with some of the mature students. But I will try harder to ignore everything around me and get lost in it.
