Recording time with an apple
Last week I discussed with my tutuor Paul Gardiner my ideas of the brief and what I thought about space. I seemed to have a few ideas about shapes, objects, and personal space. In terms of space as a whole I felt empty, black and like there was nothing. He told me that '' there is never nothing in a space, there is always something within a space ''. This made me think more about objects in a certain space and what happens to them over a period of time. I am now looking at time and entropy, and working with this idea. I am recording time with an apple, 120 hours, 41 mins and 50 seconds is the amount of time the apple has been sitting on my window. I will continue to record time with this apple and watch as the space around the apple will change. I am very excited about this and cant wait to see the process unfold before my eyes.
